MONTPELIER KITCHEN

MONTPELIER KITCHEN - Our kitchen remodel in the Montpelier neighborhood was an elegant and modern solution to an 1970s solid pine kitchen cabinet set with cedar panel walls. Although the original materials were well constructed and beautiful in their own time, they had more than outlived their stylistic life. Although no walls were removed, the cabinet layout made the space grow in both useful square footage and perceived space. The peninsula creates a wonderful informal dining space and work area which allows the owners to entertain as they prep for their guests. The cream cabinets and bronze hardware have an elegance that is warm and stylish. The tile flooring in the kitchen was also replaced with 2” white oak to match the existing hardwoods creating a continuous visual surface throughout the space.
